Welcome to Springbok Class (Year 6)
Springbok class is taught by Mr Kotze and supported by very experienced teaching assistants who will often lead additional group lessons.
Year 6 is an exciting time as there are many additional opportunities to become leaders across the school. For example, play leaders, prefects, sports leaders even Head boy or Head girl!
We work hard and, again, this is the time when we revisit many topics covered in Year 5 but in greater depth. The children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and recognise successes and areas for improvement. We use the whole school ethos of collaborative learning to really develop coaching and mentoring across the pupils.
Lastly, we ensure to follow the national curriculum for the primary curriculum in England for programmes of study and attainment targets for KS2.

Our timetable can be downloaded below. Here, parents and pupils have the opportunity to view the class schedule to see the day-to-day routine including the range of curriculum that is covered. We have found that children with SEND have responded well to visually see the structure of the day ahead.
