Celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week

Celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week

On Thursday 8th February, Mrs Tinkler and Miss Clear were excited to take 8 children from Cliffe Woods Primary School to an event celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness week. The event which took place at Corn Exchange in Rochester was organised by Medway Council for all local Primary and Secondary schools. It was an action-packed morning to empower Children and Young People’s voices and highlight the importance of positive wellbeing.

All of our children at school were given the opportunity to interpret the theme “My Voice Matters” through Artwork and these were displayed at the event. There were some impressive pictures and there may even be a prize for one of our pupils. You can see from the pictures that they had lots of fun!
